Jamie Jordan Johnston, 38, of Morganton passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. Born in Burke County, NC on September 7, 1979, she was the daughter of Ronnie Jordan and wife, Buffy, of Granite Falls and Sherry Thorne of Lenoir. Jamie was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she had a big heart and loved everybody.
In addition to her parents, Jamie is survived by her husband, Robert “Rob” Johnston of the home; children, Haley Jones, Blake Head, Damon Johnston, and Andrea Johnston; a grandchild, Ariel Johnston; a brother, Jeremy Jordan and wife, Jennifer, of Hildebran; and sisters, Jessica Jordan of Rhodhiss and Whitney Begley and husband, Josh, of Granite Falls.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Michael Gantt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
