Jamie Benjamin “Benji” Blankenship, 45 passed away, Monday, May 15, 2023. Born on December 10, 1977, he was the son of Rita Aldredge and Jack Blankenship Jr. Benji like to camp and fish. He also loved playing the guitar.
Benji is survived by his parents, Rita Norman Aldredge and husband, James, Jack Blankenship Jr. and wife, Sheree; children, Raja, Ana, and Madden Blankenship; sisters, Chasitie Whitley and husband, Jason, Tammy Aldredge, Regina Aldredge, Rebecca Edwards, Tammy Denton and husband, Jason.
Benji is preceded in death by his sisters, Christy Blankenship and Beverly Blankenship; maternal grandparents, Ruby and Charlie Norman; paternal grandparents, Sarah and Jack Blankenship Sr.
A celebration of Benji’s life will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Nowling’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Darvy Hensley officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
