James "Jimmy" Hillman Bowman, II, 38, of Shuffler Road, Morganton, NC, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 as the result of an automobile accident. Born in Burke County, NC, on April 12, 1968, he was a son of James Hillman Bowman, Sr. and Jeanne Fontillas Bowman.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by three sons, Richard Bowman, Casey Bowman, and Dusty Harmon, all of Morganton; a daughter, Heather Glazebrook of Redding, CA; his former wife, Rhonda Bowman of Morganton; two sisters, Kay Bowman of Shelby, NC and Misty Benfield of Morganton; and two brothers, Christopher Bowman and Edwin Morrison, both of Morganton.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Snow Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Leonard officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Snow Hill United Methodist Church, 5425 Snow Hill Church Road, Morganton, NC 28655.
