James C. Brown, 87 of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 after a year of declining health.

In addition to his wife Sunny, he is survived by his sons Hamilton (Jodi) and John (Eli) grandsons Lucas, John Parker and Mason Brown. His brother Tom Brown (Aloma) and nephew Keith Brown (Jeannine).

James was preceded in death by his parents George Milton and Fannie Elva Brown, brothers Bill and Keith Brown
