James Alan Winegardner, 51, of Morganton, NC died Monday, October 17, 2016. James was born in Gettysburg, PA on April 1, 1965 to the late Joseph Maurice Winegardner and Gwen Schaughter Winegardner. James was a great outdoorsman.
James is survived by his son, Cody Winegardner of Morganton; brother, Chad Cobb of Morganton; aunt, Mary Truax; special friends, Dennis Brockland and Jimmy Ollis; niece, Morgan Cobb; and nephew, Logan Cobb.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by brothers, Mark and Mike Winegardner.
