We meet people that change the trajectory of our lives forever— in all of the best and positive ways possible. Jacob was one of those people. A true definition of a compassionate human with a beacon of light that shined brighter than a thousand stars. Like many others, he’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for all you gave me, Jacob, as only you could truly ever understand. I hope heaven is grand up there, buddy.

So sorry to hear this. Jacob was very well liked and admired among the caddie ranks here at the Pinehurst Resort. He had a tremendous personality, and served his customers with the utmost respect, while having a lot of fun with each and every player. His enthusiasm for his job was evident whenever he was around the Resort with bags on his shoulders, he loved it. He was one of the very good 'young one's' and I enjoyed hanging around with him on the course. He will be missed by all of us.

Jacob is incredible. He will always be a high titled memorable spirit in my mind. He put my nephew first and my sister in the same place. Hearing my nephew talk about his friend Jacob, what they did that day, what he'd learn, how much even Elijah grew stronger, more wild like Jacob. Jacob took care of my family, my sister, and for that I will forever be grateful. He truly was a man. Besides his physical strength, I know his heart was even bigger. I strive to find individuals like him in my life. Wild spirits that love beyond their own understanding. He is a great man, with an incredible heart, and I know now a powerful guardian watching over all of us. I am greatful for Jacob ❤️
