Jackie Darlene Lynn, 67 of Morganton, NC went to be with her loved ones and Lord and Savior, Friday, November 21, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1958 in Burke County, NC. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a dedicated nurse and cosmetologist. Jackie loved to talk on the phone to her family and friends. She enjoyed watching action movies, listening to gospel and oldies music, dancing and traveling. Most importantly, Jackie loved her Lord and Savior.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Cura Montine Richardson; son, William Jack Lynn (Ashley); grandchildren, Michael Richardson, Christopher Richardson, and Whitley Lynn; brother, Shannon Buff (Lorie); nephew, Christen Buff; niece, Brooklyn Lowery (Jonathan); great nephew, Chase Lowery; special friend, Linda Parker and family; special caregiver and friend whom the family would like to thank very much, Darlene Livingston; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, special phone buddies and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jack and Kathryn Buff, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lynn; and brother, Jeffery Brian Buff.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Bradley Johnson officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear this about Jackie. She was a cousin that I love very much. I will not be able to attend the funeral due to having another scan for my cancer in Asheville. Everyone is in my prayers.
