Issac Alexander Avery, 5 month old infant, of Walker Rd., Morganton, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Duke University Medical Center. He was born in Buncombe County on August 12, 2005 and was the son of Christopher Eugene Avery and Kimberly Ann Bivens Avery of Morganton. Issac was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Charlene S. Avery.
Surviving in addition to his parents are; maternal grandparents, Roger and Linda Bivens, Connie Cable; paternal grandfather, Curtis E. Avery; aunts, Wendy Bivens, Sharon Hughes and her husband Ricky Hughes; maternal great grandfather, Hubert Cable, all of Morganton.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Burke Memorial Park with Reverend Ernie Cable officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Sossoman Funeral Home.
