Irma Rose Stewart

Irma Rose Stewart, 87 of Grace Ridge, Morganton, NC died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Grace Ridge. Born September 6, 1923 in Burlington County, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Adolpho and Rose Carolini Conselice. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Keith Stewart.Surviving are her daughter, Connie S. Wells and her husband, Philip of Nebo, NC; sisters, Alice Helderman of Charlotte and Margaret Conselice of Jacksonville Beach, FL; granddaughters, Carlee Jones and her husband, Harrison of Chapel Hill, NC and Carrie Wells of Boone, NC; and two great grandchildren.The funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Whittington officiating. The family will greet friends at the church following the mass. Interment of Irma’s ashes will be at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Western N. C. Chapter, 31 College Place, Suite D320, Asheville, NC 28801. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
