Ina Sue Boone

Ina Sue Boone, 77, of Morganton gained her angel wings on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.  Born in Pemiscot County, MO on March 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Norvil Claude Boone and Edyth Arlie Zook Boone.  Ina enjoyed music and watching shows on television.  She was an avid NASCAR fan and her favorites were Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and most recently, Chase Elliot.  She was greatly loved by her family and friends and was a blessing ot all who knew her.

Ina is survived by her niece, Angela Kaye Boone; nephew, Brian Keith Boone; great-nephew, Gabriel Evan Abbott; great-niece, Hannah Elizabeth Boone; and her close friends, John and Cindy Sidel.

In addition to her parents, Ina was preceded in death by brothers, Norvil Daniel Boone and Michael David Boone; sister, Wilma Jean Taylor; and nephew, Michael Daniel Boone.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Milburn officiating.  The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, July 4 at Burke Memorial Park.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
