Howard “H.D.” Pritchard, 51, of Glen Alpine, NC died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC. Born October 30, 1963 in Burke County, he was a son of Lawrence Kenneth “Ken” Pritchard of Morganton and the late Joyce Ann Lowdermilk Pritchard. H.D. was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his father are his brother, Kenneth Pritchard and wife, Cheryl of Morganton; sisters, Rita Morrill and husband, Michael of Morganton and Tonya Clark of Drexel; several nephews and nieces; and his faithful canine companion, Chico.
A private family service of remembrance will be held at a later date. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
