Holli Michelle Powell Ozmun, 51, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was born on February 28, 1972 in Burke County to the late Horace Powell and Lois Meadows Baker. Holli was a true Southern lady with a servant heart. She was formerly a registered nurse at Western Carolina Center. Holli was a loving wife.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beatrice Hollifield; sister-in-law, Donna Powell.
Holli is survived by her husband of 10 years, Shelby Ozmun; step-son, Jimmy Ozmun; step-daughter, Lisa Crotts (Gary); grandchildren, Taylor Ashmore, Kelli Ashmore, and Clayton Crotts; brothers, Stephen Powell, Ricky Powell and Phillip Powell (Holly); mother-in-law, Judy Ozmun; and many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
