Henry “Eddie” Ward, 56, of Morganton, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Born on May 22, 1963, he was the son of the late Henry Ward and Geneva Stulls Ward. Eddie worked for Ferguson Copeland Furniture Company. Eddie was a wonderful, kind, loving man. A fantastic husband and father, He was our best friend. He had a zeal for life. He had a crazy infectious personality, always smiling and always made everyone laugh at his crazy stories or his funny self. Our love for him cannot be put into words by no means. Eddie will forever be in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Sams Ward; children, Corey Woods, Jessica Weaver, Nicole Coffield, and Alley Ward; nine grandchildren; brothers, James, Bobby, and Jimmy Ward; and sister, Debbie Lovengood.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
