Hazel Aeirwantia Herman Cline Mosteller, 81, of Morganton, NC died Sunday, January 4, 2015. Born October 3, 1933 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Victor Herman and Rosa Sigmon Herman.
A loving mother and grandmother, Hazel is survived by daughters, Patricia Cline Hoyle and Tim Sears of Morganton, and Debra Cline Tollison and Tim Horne of Fountain Inn, SC; grandchildren, Chrissy Barr and husband, Brad, Jason Wright, Jon Cody Cline, Michael Cline, and Reina Collins and husband, Dustin; great-grandchildren, Angel and Tyler Pendley; a sister, Mary Mask of Charlotte, NC; and extended Mosteller family members.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mosteller; a son, John Cline, two sisters and one brother.
Hazel was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church with Rev. Heather Kilbourne officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Matthews United Methodist Church SMILE Program, 201 Shady Rest Road, Morganton, NC 28655, or Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690.
