Harvey Eugene Franklin, 67, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Born in Burke County, NC on September 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Conley Eugene Franklin and Barbara Benfield Franklin. Harvey was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows. He most enjoyed playing with his dogs.
Harvey is survived by his daughters, April Johnson of Maiden, NC and Christina Miller of Atlantic Beach, NC; brothers, Joe Franklin of Union Mills, NC and Alan Franklin of Morganton; and a number of grandchildren and extended family.
Services for Mr. Franklin will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
