Gregory “Big Daddy” Lackey, 62 of Morganton, NC passed away, Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Born on November 30, 1961, he was the son of the late Jimmie and Olivia Lackey. Gregory was a former member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He worked for FedEx and a landscaper. He was a jack of all trades and had a good heart.
Gregory is survived by his fiancée, Amy D. Hoffman; children, Gregory “Lee” Lackey, Lauryl Olivia Lackey, Olivia Rayne Hoffman; grandchildren, Ralph “Trace” Wilson III, Alaina Mae Lackey; brother, Ricki Lackey; sister, Cynthia Lackey Castilla (Miguel).
There are no services planned at this time for the Lackey family.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
