Gregg Allen Rogers, 37, of Morganton finally found his peace on Friday, November 22, 2019. Born in Burke County, NC on January 30, 1982, he was the son of Sharon Lee Pearson Rogers and the late Jerry William Rogers. Gregg was attending Redeemed Baptist Church. He was a good-hearted, hard-working man that would work on or fix anything. He never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help others.
Gregg is survived by his mother, Sharon Lee Pearson Rogers of Morganton; children, Hayden, Trever, Noah, Alexa, and Brayden Rogers; sister, Kelley Rogers; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Virginia Rogers; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In addition to his father, Gregg was preceded in death by his brother, John Rogers; maternal grandmother, Marian Pearson McNeilly; maternal grandfather, Doyle McNeilly; and paternal grandmother, Lillian Branch.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at Silver Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at noon in the church with Rev. Larry Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family requests privacy at this time.
