Committal
Glenn T. Cline, 80, of Connelly Springs, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Born in Crawford County, IN on December 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Glenn M. Cline and Hildegard V. Fanning Cline.
Glenn was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was a Grand Knight and Navigator with the Knights of Columbus. Glenn enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking trips, fishing, reading, and barbecuing with his smoker. Glenn was a certified public accountant for many years and was president of the Lakes Wales Lions Club.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia J. Smith Cline; children, Glenn Cline, Jr. (Jen), Brian Cline (Brandi), Christine Cline Wilkins, Daniel Cline (Kelli), and Steven Cline (Ashley); step-children, Phillip Kelly (April) and Matthew Kelly (Cassey Greer); grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody, Carolyn, Vance, Jakob, Chloe, McKenzie, Lainie, and Case; step-grandchildren, Kevin, Zoe, Aubrey, and Kaitlin; great-grandchild, Callie; brothers, Donald, Bob, and Doug Cline; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cline.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2026 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will follow at noon in the church with Father Stephen M. Hoyt and Father Kenneth Whittington officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus or to the Friends for Animals - Humane Society of Burke County.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Glenn, The fault is mine.... I wanted to remember the you, you were, that I remember. I appreciate all the help you have given me in the past. Unfortunately we never had that bond like you had with the others. You were you and I was I. I remember all the times you tried. Patricia you were the best for Mom and Dad, I am sure Glenn appreciated you tremendously.
