Glenn "Junior" Laws, 68, of Morganton, NC went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Born in Yancey County, NC on October 20, 1945, he was the son of the late Glenn Laws and Lillian Medford Laws. Junior was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and he owned and operated Law’s Vinyl Siding and Windows.Mr. Laws is survived by Faye Dale Laws of the home; children, Sheila Laws Abernathy and her companion, Charlie Helton, and Tony Laws and his companion, Nicole Flowers, all of Morganton; grandchildren, Charity and Brittany Abernathy, Chandler Laws, and Pvt. Dillon Flowers; great-grandchildren, Rylan "Bucket" Lester, Bentley Flowers, Meche Flowers, Kade Tolbert; and brothers, Jack and Jim Laws.In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Donald Gene Laws; a sister, Kay Laws; and a daughter-in-law, Margaret "Missy" Laws.The funeral will be held at 4pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Marty Bess officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4pm prior to service.
