Gladys Louise Davis Dutton

Gladys Louise Davis Dutton, 80 of Morganton, NC passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. Born July 8, 1941 in Spruce Pine, NC she was a daughter of the late Leonard Davis and Lena Frye Davis. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and Gladys loved her Lord and Saviour.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dutton was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Minish; son, Robbie Minish; grandchildren, Keith Owens and Loretta Henson; and siblings, Dennis Davis, Brenda Waldroup, Juanita Waldroup, and Patsy Dutton.

Mrs. Dutton is survived by her husband, Michael Dutton; children, Chris Minish (Kelly), Charles Minish, and Lisa Minish; grandchildren, Emily Ollis (Timmy), Christy Ramsey (Kyle), and Jessie Campbell (Von); great-grandchildren, Dawn Ollis, Serenity Campbell, Colton Ramsey, and Trey Campbell; siblings, Carolyn Waldroup. Bobby Davis, Revonda Hubbard, and Wayne Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive from 5:00 pm until 7:00pm, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 21 at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion with Dr. Tom Walker officiating.
