Gary Sisk, 60, of Morganton died Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Born in McDowell County, NC on September 20, 1951, he was a son of Dolcie Sheehan Sisk of Marion and the late James A. Sisk. Gary was a member of High Peak Baptist Church.In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his sister, Brenda Elaine Sisk of Nebo; a special uncle, Ralph Sisk of Nebo; two nieces, Jennifer and Nikki and their children; a number of cousins to which he was very close; and his High Peak Baptist Church family.In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Sisk.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012 at High Peak Baptist Church with Dr. Kevin A. Purcell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
