Freddy Correll Orders

Freddy Correll Orders, 81, of Morganton, NC went to his Heavenly home on Friday, July 27, 2018.  Born May 30, 1937 in Burke County he was the son of the late Fred Orders and Vesta Mae Mull Orders.

Freddy was a very active member of Bethel United Methodist Church on Bethel Road and a veteran of the US Army.  He retired with 34 years of service as a tanker driver for Mull Oil Company.  He loved NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves.

Freddy is survived by his wife, Nina Louise Bumgarner Orders of the home; daughter, Kim Orders and fiance, Terry Houston both of Morganton; first wife and mother of his daughter, Ellen Lane Carver of Morganton; sister, Derenda Blevins and husband, Keith; brother, Benny Orders; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 at Bethel United Methodist Church.  The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Monday in the church with Rev. Butch Osborne and Rev. Earl Cook officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors provided by North Carolina National Guard and Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
