Frank Elmore Ballew, 46, of Morganton, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Born in Burke County, NC on September 5, 1979, he was the son of Fred Richard Ballew and the late Shirley Oakley Ballew.
Frank enjoyed playing video games, puzzles, and cooking. He worked for a few years at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center.
In addition to his father, Frank is survived by his daughter, Katie Gwaltney Mourglea.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A celebration of Frank’s life will follow at 11 a.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Bradley Johnson officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
