The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at Burke Memorial Park with Pastor Freddy Lindsey officiating.

At other times the family will be at the residence of Michael and Teena Smith, 3051 Franklin Lane, Morganton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, Wall Street Plaza, 88 Pine Street, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10005.

Frances has left many hearts mourning her. Especially those closest to her in life. For those people I am leaving my condolences. But, we all must remember that she has gone to be with our Father in Heaven. She has been greeted by those who have gone on before her including the Love of Her Life, James Smith. I am sure there is rejoicing going on there. James will be greeting her with open arms and to help guide her through Heaven to see all the wonders prepared for everyone who has accepted Christ's gift of Eternal Life. I hope that your mourning contains a little Celebration for her as she continues Eternity with the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
