Frances Kay Hester

Frances Kay Hester, 56, of J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, Morganton, NC, formerly of Lincolnton, died Friday, July 3, 2009 at Grace Hospital in Morganton. Born January 26, 1953 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of Edith Stowe Hester and the late Dewey Leroy Hester.In addition to her mother, Frances is survived by her brothers, James Leroy Hester and Charles Steve Hester, both of Lincolnton; and a sister, Brenda Marlene Hester Swaney of Pendleton, SC.The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Covenant Chapel of J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center with Chaplain Johnny Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel from noon until 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton. Memorial contributions may be made to J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, 300 Enola Road, Morganton, NC 28655. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
