Frances Dennie, 82, of Morganton passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Born in Burke County, NC on July 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Augustus “Gus” Peeler and Lessie Mae Hudson Peeler. Frances was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 62 years, Paul Dennie; daughters, Sandra Puente, Deborah Biggs (Scott); son, James Dennie (Christine); grandchildren, Landrea Fields (Thorin), Caroline Puente, Anthony Biggs (Crystal), Brittany Stains (Chris), Che Puente (Ericka), Benjamin, Sabrina, Christopher, and Michael Dennie: great-grandchildren, Brandon, Dorian, Khloe, Corbin, Harper, Adrian, and Tristin; sisters-in-law, Edith Peeler, Nancy White, Mable Bright, Ann Bodden.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Peeler, James Vernon Peeler; sisters, Lucille Peeler, Jenice Peeler, and Pauline Reep: son-in-law, Pablo Puente, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 11am until 12pm, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Cross Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral will be at 12:00pm in the church with Dr. Jeffrey Beach officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
