Frances Crotts Milligan, 76, of Morganton, NC, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her residence. Frances was born on September 25, 1940 to the late Clayton Crotts and Lucy Hoyle Crotts. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church on Dysartsville Road, Morganton.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William Harrison Milligan; sister, Betty Harris; and brother, Sam Crotts.
Frances is survived by her sons, Ricky Milligan of Morganton, Alan Milligan of Morganton, and Adam Milligan and wife, Tammy of Newton; grandchildren, Tina Milligan Bartsch and husband, Sean, Joseph Milligan, Ashlyn Helms, and Sierra Milligan; and great-grandson, Logan Bartsch. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom Crotts, Rodger Crotts and wife, Ruth, Ruby Greene, and Kathy Coffey and husband, J.T.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00pm, Thursday, January 12 at Bethel United Methodist Church on Dysartsville Road with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating.
