Faye McCoy Rasnick

Faye McCoy Rasnick, 97 of Morganton, NC passed away, Sunday, December 14, 2025. Born on July 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Grace McCoy. Faye was a devout Christian and member of Heritage Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly and never met a stranger. Faye was an excellent seamstress, sewer, wonderful at baking cakes and crafter.

Faye is survived by her son, Stacy Rasnick (Mary); daughter-in-law, Jill Rasnick; grandchildren, Gina Lambert (Robert), Rayna Kirby, Carly Rasnick; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Reece, Shelby Lambert, Dakota Kirby; brothers, O.C. McCoy (Rhonda) and Sam McCoy (Susan); and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Rasnick; son, Rodney Rasnick; brothers, Grady McCoy, James H. McCoy; sister, Belle M. Goodin.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston, NC.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
