Faye E. Miller Cline, 85, of Morganton, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Born in Watauga County, NC on September 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Clint Alfred Miller and Suma Gay Proffet Miller.

Faye was a member of Bethel Global Methodist Church. She graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing and retired from Broughton Hospital as a registered nurse.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Joseph Cline (Julia) and Perry Cline (Pam); granddaughters, Jessica Hagen (Cameron), Leah Haynes (Landon), Anna Cline (Alex McGee), and Peyton Cline; and great-grandchildren, Conrad Haynes, Emmalyn Haynes, Fields McGee, Gemma Hagen, Roman Hagen, and Philip Hagen.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ben Cline; sister, Earline Miller Holoday; and infant sister, Jewel Miller.

A celebration of Faye’s life will be held at a later date.

I extend my condolences to Faye’s family. I got to know Faye at Broughton Hospital. She was a nurse on the Admissions Service. Not only was she a very good nurse but a good manager of the ward where she worked. Peace to her family.
