Evelyn Arabella Bollinger Shuffler, 85, of Morganton passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021. Born on August 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Kelly R. Bollinger and Mae Shad Bollinger.
Beloved wife and mother, Evelyn is survived by her son, Christopher B. Shuffler (Selena); grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Gonzalez (Matt), Bradley B. Shuffler, and Krista Metcalf (Clint); great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Morgan, Samuel, Madison, Charlee, and Mara; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Belmont Shuffler; daughter, Sharon Lorette Shuffler; brothers, Kelly and Nevlyn Bollinger; and sisters, Jeanette Marshall, Eveline Ledford (her twin), and Edith Hollar.
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Eddy Bunton officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
