Elisabeth Hunt White, 75, of Morganton, NC, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Born on December 6, 1950, she was the daughter of the late William O. Hunt and Sheilah Adams Hunt.
Elisabeth had a lifelong love of nature and animals, especially horses. She also enjoyed tending her flower garden, bird watching, antiquing, and appreciating the outdoors.
Throughout her life, Elisabeth generously gave her time by volunteering with organizations such as C.R.O.W. (Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife) on Sanibel Island, Florida.
Elisabeth was fortunate enough to call several beautiful places home, including Wayzata, Minnesota; Rutherfordton, North Carolina; Blowing Rock, NC; and her favorite place, Sanibel Island, Florida. Wherever she lived, her love of animals, flowers, and the natural world remained constant.
A loving mother and grandmother, those left to cherish her memory include her children, William E. W. White and wife, Kristin B. White; daughter, Hayley C. White and wife, Holly L. Spain; grandchildren, Charlotte E. White and William H. White; and siblings, William C. Hunt and Ellen Hunt.
