Elijah Daniel Reese, 33, of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was born on November 22, 1987 in Burke County to the late Terry Dean Reese and Karen Smith Reese. He was a very talented welder and very artistic. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and spending time with his sons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy D. Smith and L.H. Reese.
He is survived by his sons, Samuel Roper and Carter Reese; grandmothers, Carolyn Smith and Shirley Reese; a number of aunts, an uncle, and cousins.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International and sympathy cards may be sent to the Reese family in care of Sossoman Funeral Home, PO Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
