Donna Rae Baynard

Donna Rae Baynard, 83, of Morganton, NC passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019.  Donna Rae was born October 8, 1935 in Cumberland, Maryland.  She was a daughter of the late Charles Stinebaugh and Olive Furr Stinebaugh.  She was a member of The Morganton Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Whitacre.

Donna is survived by her husband, Max Towery Baynard; son, Thomas Duckworth of Ferndale, MD; daughters, Nancy Cochran (Joe) of Pasadena, MD and Rhonda Lastine (Don) of Chattanooga, TN; and step-daughters, Ann Nelson (Wally) of Frederick, WI and Jennifer Osborne (Gregory) of Forest City, NC.  Also surviving are a brother, Richard Stinebaugh (Mary) of Martinsburg, WV; sister, Betty Dolan (Bill) of Cumberland, MD; grandchildren, Amber Cochran of San Diego CA and Jessica Bielan (Kyle) of Troutman, NC; and great-grandson, Owen Bielan.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14 at The Morganton Seventh-day Adventist Church.  The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the church with Pastor Barry Mahorney and Pastor Steve Bietz officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
