Donna Marie Powell

Donna Marie Powell, 69, of Valdese, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2021.  Born in Burke County, NC on December 7, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Ray Powell and Joy Marie Johnson Powell.  Donna was a member of Amazing Grace Church.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her sons, Jeffery Scott Harvey and Johnny Ray Harvey; daughter, Dana Marie Davis; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Harvey, Jessica Harvey, Hannah Harvey, Chelsi Davis, and Ashley Davis; and sister, Rhonda Ecard.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. David Orders officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
