Donna Land, 35, of Morganton, NC died unexpectedly on Monday, April 11, 2016. Born in Concord, NC on July 18, 1980, she was the daughter of Melvin Edison Land of Gastonia and Mary L. Jacobs Land of St. Pauls, NC. Donna was a hard worker who was employed at many restaurants. She loved everyone she met and was always trying to make people smile.
In addition to her parents, Donna is survived by her son, Maurice Brown of Parkton, NC; a brother, Sandy Ray Jacobs of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Pam Jacobs of Lumberton; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her mother’s home in St. Pauls.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
