Dolly Warren Stroupe, 55, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, in Morganton. She was the daughter of the late Everette T. Waaren and Mary Ann Bollinger Warren.
She is survived by a son, Robert Warren and wife, Andrea Wilson.
A celebration of her life will be held at her home, 2585 Lake Charles St., in Morganton Sunday, March 26, from 3 to 8 p.m.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Dolly was my cousin, for her mother Mary Ann Bollinger was my aunt. I remember how happy her mom and dad were when they brought her as a baby to show her off to us. Dolly was so much younger than I, and I was either at Appalachian, or teaching in Caldwell County, so we didn't have a lot in common except other relatives. She was lovely and I missed getting to know her well. My loss, as I was never told she had a child, nor what she did for work or relaxation. Most of all, no one has ever told me how she left this world. But I can still hear her laughter when some of us went hiking on Table Rock.
