Dollie Mae Cherry Bolick

Dollie Mae Cherry Bolick, 74 of Morganton, NC passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 following a period of declining health. She was Born December 15, 1943 in Burke County, NC and was the daughter of the late Ralph Cherry and Glennie Estelle Barker Cherry. Dollie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed gospel and country music. Dollie also enjoyed traveling to Nashville, TN to the Grand Ole Opry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mattie Cherry.

She is survived by her husband, Roby Bolick and a son, Roger Bolick of Morganton, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny Ward officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 2441 Antioch Rd., Morganton, NC 28655.
