Diane Crump Robbins, 64, of Morganton, NC passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022. Diane was born in
Flint, Michigan to the late Arthur Eugene Crump and Nora Blanche Mahaffey Crump.
Diane was a loving Mother and Nana, an early riser, and a team player. Diane followed in the footsteps of her
mom, aunt, and sister as a Registered Nurse, providing medical treatment and comfort for over 27 years to those
who came through the ER and Elderly Care facilities. She was a huge Michigan Wolverines fan and was a
“Defender of all animals.” She was always her kids’ biggest cheerleader and a big prayer warrior for all her
loved ones.
Diane is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Emmitt Robbins and sister Veronica Jo Crump.
Diane is survived by her children Andrew Robbins (Amber) and Nichole Robbins (Jason), her grandchildren
Emmitt Robbins, Lilly Robbins, Liam Robbins, Oaklynn Robbins, Andrew (DW) Webster, Alivia Webster, and
Jaxson Goodman, and her sister Darlene Hartsell (John).
There will be a Celebration of Life on October 1, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory
Center, 1011 S. Sterling St., Morganton, NC 28655.
