Dennis Rector, 64, of Morganton passed away Friday, June 14, 2019. Born in Burke County, NC on October 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Kathleen Rector Pugh. Dennis was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He had worked at Foothills Area Program and loved to fish.
Mr. Rector is survived by his son, Kevin Rector (Stephanie) of Morganton; grandchildren, Peyton, Colton, and Marcus Rector; and the mother of his son, Loreen Carswell (Joe).
Services for Dennis will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
