Dennis Larry "Snap" Costner, 56, of 70 West, Morganton, NC died unexpectedly February 3, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Cleveland County, NC on January 15, 1951 and was a son of the late William Leon Costner and Mary Etta Randolph Costner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Tom Costner and Wayne Costner, and by a sister, Joanne Greene.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Shane and Christie Costner; a granddaughter, Elisabeth Costner; brothers and their wives, Jim and Donna Costner and Bill and Cathy Costner; a sister and her husband, Ella and Buster Morgan; all of Morganton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Reverends Rocky Reece and Vernon McCarthy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
