Dennis Boyd McCall, 78, of Lenoir, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Born in Caldwell County, NC on February 17, 1948, he was the son of the late Oscar Boyd McCall and Abbie Loraine Hilburn McCall.
He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis loved hunting, fishing, and trips to the beach, but most of all he loved his family. He also enjoyed watching baseball, golf, and football, especially Appalachian State University.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 43 years, Sandy Gail McDade McCall; a sister, Genise Mack (Barry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Elaine Blankenship.
No services are planned at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
