Delores Stacy

Delores Stacy, 87, of Morganton, NC passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was born on January 14, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late Clyde Huntley and Grace Johnson Huntley. She was a member of Praise Assembly of God Church and attended Grace Way Bible Church. She retired from Broughton Hospital. Delores loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved all and was a Godly woman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Baxter Stacy; brothers, George and Bobby Huntley; granddaughter, Brandy Hastings; son, Bobby Stacy.

She is survived by her daughters, Ida-Chastity Summers (Patrick), Tammy Espinoza (Manuel) and Terri Russ (Donnie); son, Todd Stacy; sister, Wanda Childers; grandchildren, Jasmine Dasilva, Joshua Espinoza-Stacy. Holly Cooke, Shannon Hastings, Kelly Bollinger, Ryan Bollinger, Karson Bollinger, Logan Stacy and Hunter Stacy; great-grandchildren, Skylar Dasilva, Ben Hernandez, Waylon Bollinger, Kace Bollinger, Nevah Campbell, Landon Hastings, Bryson Davis, and Jamison Bollinger.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Praise Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kevin Crawford and Rev. Jimmy Church officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
