Della Nanena Clontz, 84, of Morganton died Sunday, March 17, 2019. Born in Burke County, NC on October 9, 1934, she was the daughter of the late J. Von Perry and Harriet Nanena Beck Perry. Della was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to garden and grow her flowers.
Mrs. Clontz is survived by her sons, Jeffrey, Mark, and Bradley Clontz; grandchildren, Nicholas, Leslie, and David Clontz; and siblings, Rebecca Smith and Randall Perry.
In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Junior Clontz; and siblings, Joel, Alfred, and Gerald Perry.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. in the church with Rev. Steve Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
