Debra Poteat

Debra Poteat, 67, of Conover passed away April 15, 2019. Born on July 19, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Thad and Eileen Poteat. Debra was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister.

Debra is survived by her daughter, Shannon Long (Jimmy); granddaughters, Ashlee and Sydney Sweezy; sister, Lisa McNeely (Cam); niece, Mary McNeely Royal; nephew, Patrick McNeely; and a cat, Munchkyn; and numerous extended family.

In addition to her parents, Debra is preceded in death by her husband Charles Roger Mabe.

The family will receive friends from 11 until noon, Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
