Deborah Elaine Woodie

Deborah Elaine Woodie, 74 of Morganton, NC passed away, Friday, June 5, 2026. Born on January 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John and Laura Markham. Deborah enjoyed traveling to many different places. She worked at Burger King and loved to meet and talk with new people.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Delbert Woodie; step-son, Robert Strieb; cousins, Tommy and Carolyn Beatty, Patricia Brittain; aunt, Nancy Brittain; step-father-in-law, Thomas Abrey Duncan.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm, Thursday, June 11, 2026 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Hart officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
