Deborah “Debbie” Watson Brawley, 54, of Morganton, NC went to her Heavenly home on Monday, November 10, 2014.  Born June 19, 1960 in Caldwell County, NC, she was a daughter of Doris Piercy Snow of Morganton and the late Kermit LaFayette Watson.  Debbie was a member of Enon Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Women of Faith Bible Study.  She worked for Drexel-Heritage Furnishings for over 20 years, but she put the most value on her job as a nurse at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.  She also worked as an R.N. and C.N.A. at Grace Ridge.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Terry Brawley of the home; children, Jennifer Phillips and husband, Jarrett of Charlotte, NC, Jonathan Brawley of Cornelius, NC, and Derrick Brawley and wife, Amanda of Morganton; grandchildren, Gavin, Anna, and Emma Phillips; sisters, Sheila Hefner and husband, Carl of Valdese, and Carla Smith of Rock Hill, SC; three nephews, one niece, one great-nephew, and one great-niece.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Garner officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood St., N.W., Lenoir, NC  28645.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
