Debbie Clarke, 71, of Morganton, NC passed away, Saturday, January 17, 2026. Born on June 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Gene and Ruby Miklowski.
Debbie was a member of Morganton Seventh day Adventist Church where she went every chance she got. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cross stitching. Debbie loved her family, especially her grand and great grand babies.
Debbie is survived by her children, Melissa Clarke Henderson (Shane) and Johnathan “John” Clarke (Sonya); grandchildren, Nathan Henderson (Emily), Kaitlyn Henderson (Noah), Allison Clarke, Addison Clarke, and Abbigail Clarke; and great-grandchildren, Phebee, Macy-Kait, Leighton, and Colson.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, John Eugene Clarke; and half-brother, Phillip Duckworth.
There will be services at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
