"I, Debbie B. Ogle, would like to invite you to celebrate in my homegoing on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. This will be my last opportunity on this Earth to thank God for his grace and mercy. Not only has God taken care of me through good times and bad, but he has assured me of eternal life with Him. There is no greater comfort for you or me. Please remember all the good times we shared. Laughter doeth good like a medicine… and did I ever laugh. Grant yourself mourning but only for a short time. Be happy for tomorrow and know that I have had a full and blessed life. God gave me a wonderful family and good friends. I have loved and been loved every day of my life. My wish is that you smile when you hear my name, trust God, and love and take care of one another."Loved by many relations and friends, Debbie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gary Ogle; a daughter, Kristy Poteat and her husband, Aaron; grandchildren, Ethan Poteat and Addison Poteat; a brother-in-law, Keith Ogle and his wife, Elizabeth; a father-in-law, Roy Ogle; an uncle, Nollie Smith; and her dearly loved cousin, Cathy Byrd.Debbie has joined her parents, Paul Scott and Ollie Scott, and her mother-in-law, Faye Ogle, in heaven. The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Valdese with Rev.
