David (Dave) J. Nowacki, 75, of Morganton passed away on June 13, 2023. Dave was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served in Vietnam with the Mobile Riverine Force. Dave was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Vera Nowacki and daughter Debbie Ivkov.
He is survived by his wife Sallie Nowacki, sons Dennis and John, daughters Kristen Owens and Melissa Brown (Bryan), four grandsons; two granddaughters; brother, Darryl Nowacki; and sister, Donna Goodwin.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2023 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A service honoring the life of Dave will follow in the Colonial Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Burke Memorial Park with military honors provided by Caldwell County Veteran Honor Guard and the United States Navy.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
