Darlene “Dar” Doran, 69, of Nebo, NC, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023.
Born in Florida on September 5, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Earl Leary and Betty Wise Mook.
Dar attended Celebration Family Worship Center. She loved her dogs, cooking, and especially her grandchildren.
Dar is survived by her daughter, Donna Doran (Cowboy); and grandchildren, Ronny Roach, Bret Foy, and Asa Foy.
In addition to her parents, Dar was preceded in death by a step-father, Paul Mook.
Services will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Darlene and I became buddies because of the time we shared at lunch and dinner for several years. I was truly sad to hear of her passing. Please accept my condolences, and know that she'll be missed here at Deer Park.
